I was there at the fourth of July when the city hosted a beautiful concert with country and rock singers. In monsoon months a number of turtle nests can be spotted. The white walls that separates the road from the sand is divided into segments for tower areas with very thoughtful names and artistic gates. The beach itself is lined with beautiful lush green palm trees, that is perfect for photos and otherwise just guides you to the pristine white sand. The beach road is lined with cool shacks and big big prestigious hotels that can cater to your wildest requests and host the most amazing parties you would have ever witnessesd. Fort Lauderdale is a bustling town with ever so humble people and full of culture. One can easily debate how can just a beach be so different and beautiful and compared to other beaches, but what they fail to realise is what lies around the beach matters too. One of the most beautiful beaches to exist in the entire planet. I didn't get the name of the park but it is directly across the street from this museum and made a great place to eat lunch and think about my next place to visit. There were public statues to take pics at, water fountains and restrooms. I will try when I visit fort Lauderdale again. ![]() I saw the taxi boats that tourists can pay to ride to different locations and restaurants. I sat under the pillars near the water fountain display and that gave me some vitamin d and a wonderful view of boats on the lake, people walking by and beautiful sky. I decided to go across the street to the beautiful open park. There's several outdoor spots for families to have lunch. As an adult this was very underwhelming for me. I did not visit the cafe or gift shop on site. The best experience was the weather/news caster exhibit, otter living exhibit, the movie theater I watched a documentary that was included in my entrance ticket and one or two other exhibits. I paid for my ticket online before the doors opened for visitors. This is a children's museum for children and their parents who are there to supervise them. This museum is lovely for children under twelve and over age one year old. ![]()
